Promising graduate looking who is eager to work within the healthcare space. I have graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, B.S. with Public Health Concentration at California State University, East Bay and also received an Associates in Arts in Human Development Studies. My favorite hobby is to play video games. In fact I have been one of the best players in the world in just about all of the games I play. I definitely feel like that is a skill that directly speaks to me and will translate into the working world. I am confident that being passionate about my work will allow me to perform effectively and efficiently.Experience-Completed a high school project focusing on researching and presenting a social issue (2014): I conducted research and presented the social issue of sleep apnea as it affects health within my community and executed a presentation on my findings at Irvington High School in front of students and professors.Coached and coordinated a yearly basketball camp for children (2013- 2016):Educated hundreds of children ages 8-14 annually on developing basketball skills, how to expressteamwork, and gave speeches on life values. I mentored new or inexperienced coaches on coaching children properly by evaluating and enforcing their tasks are done correctly.Skills- Multitasking:Took charge of managing basketball game clock, shot clock, and scorebook (jobs for 3 separate people)simultaneously each week, showcasing mastery under pressure situations and the ability to multitask.Management:Facilitated High School basketball games working as a referee by taking charge of the game and ensuringthe rules were properly understood and followed by players through communication.Teamwork:My teammates and I during a college assignment, worked together by compiling specific and accurate research on the Zika Virus and providing coherent analysis in the form of a fact sheet. This included identification of populations at risk at a state level, how the climate plays a role, as well as social practices that contribute to the risk. This project allowed me and my colleagues to sharpen our abilities in research and teamwork in order to make the project flow and be presentable.Research and Analysis:I worked on a project with my colleagues involving analyzing multiple complex policies in healthcare through problem based learning. We collaborated on a 2,000 word paper which involved coordinated teamwork, perseverance, time management, as well an emphasis on research and analysis skills.
