• Coordinating the Grade 12 Portfolio Assessment and Oral Assessment in the district and conducting the provincial moderation for that
• Setting, moderating and standardising the Common Exam English papers for schools in the townships of Alexandra, Ivory Park and Soweto
• Monitoring the state of the subject in poorly performing schools and providing support
• Coordinating a team of educators specially appointed to provide additional English 2nd Language tuition for Soweto learners in Grade 12
