This internship consists of teaching high school students, grades 9-12, in the subject areas of agricultural sciences, horticulture, and metal working. I utilize many teaching techniques and compose lessons for each day to teach students content knowledge that can be applied to real life and future careers.

Working at Wallace and Pancher, Inc. I gained a vast knowledge in field data collection. Every day, I conducted flow monitoring on streams, recorded depths well points, worked on habitat mapping projects, and participated in electrofishing to measure stream biodiversity. All collected information was transmitted into excel files each day after field data collection was complete.

This was an internship that covered my basis of education and environmental studies. I became proficient is conducting natural interpretation field walks, constructing interpretive exhibits, creating environmental education lessons for students, facilitating team-building exercises, and demonstrating numerous information programs to the public on birds of prey and other environmental issues.
