• Engineering cognizance of all Reactor Plant GFE upon receipt until installation. • Developed lifting and handling procedures for major reactor plant components. • Part of the lead group for all propulsion plant Preventive and Protective maintenance initiatives for primary and secondary mechanical systems, including major components, pumps valves, fittings, etc. • Supports general engineering program initiatives such as acquisition, change order scopes, multi-functional procedures/instruction development, global problem resolution affecting multiple disciplines etc. • Participated in testing and observations of prototype materials for cost savings, function and benefits.

• Supervise reactor plant system parameters and a team of six personnel ensuring reactor and personnel safety during critical, shut-down, and transient conditions. • Operate, inspect, test, and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on steam, fresh and seawater, oil, air, potentially contaminated, high pressure, and high temperature systems that directly and indirectly supported reactor plant operations. • Troubleshoot and repair valves, pumps, gages, switches, and other various components and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operation using technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures. Completed these repairs using various test equipment, including: hydraulic test equipment, hydrostatic test equipment, leak check equipment, torque wrenches, pressure and temperature test equipment, and radiological test equipment. • Trained 14 personnel in the performance of secondary reactor plant mechanical maintenance for one year by ensuring they understood how to carry out maintenance from preparation to completion. Ensured personnel followed appropriate procedures, and operated test equipment correctly. Supervise a number of maintenance spot-checks for two different department with an above 95% success rate.• Ensure 100% compliance with zero major administrative deficiencies during more than 6 audits and inspections by personally reviewing all information and schedules for the previous year’s worth of maintenance.• Qualified all qualifications including: Chief Reactor Watch (Reactor room mechanical supervisor) and all subordinate watch stations, Shutdown Reactor Mechanical Operator (shutdown reactor room mechanical supervisor and operator), Shutdown Roving Watch. • Handpicked for various watches during successful cool-down and heat-up of the reactor plant to perform time-critical reactor plant test and repairs because of my expert knowledge of plant operations.
