Graduated physiotherapist from Ulster University with first class honours. HCPC and CORU registered. At university I completed five different placements (which included the three core areas): Trauma and orthopaedics Stroke ward Community respiratory MSK outpatients / ED Community stroke Employed as a part-time lifeguard at Derry City and Strabane District Council whilst studying at university where I carried out regular first aid and lifesaving training. Self-employed working as a Sports Massage Therapist. Currently working as a youth team physiotherapist for both Derry City F.C and IFA youth development programme. Here I am required to oversee training and matches, implement injury prevention measures, assess and treat injuries as appropriate and deliver first aid when required.
