Responsibilities include assistance with Medicaid education and problem resolution for North Carolina Brookdale Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities. Provide updated training for National, Regional and Community Management on all issues related to Medicaid, Special Assistance, Personal Care Services and PASARR. Maintain updated accurate information on Medicaid program fluctuations to inform company and community management of Medicaid programmatic changes as they are proposed, evaluated and implemented. Provide intervention support between communities, Brookdale accounts receivable department, and State Agencies to resolve miscommunications and inconsistencies. Conduct audits within communities to ensure compliance with Medicaid regulation and company policy. Attend varied trainings, NC Stakeholder meetings and conferences to provide input and subsequently to ensure all parties involved were aware of change in procedure, legislation or regulation.
