Provide law enforcement and security to Manheim Township and Lancaster Township whose total population is over 57,000 covering 30 square miles. These communities encompass numerous businesses, critical infrastructure, and key resources within Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.Responsibilities include:1-Support Services Division Commander: Oversee and supervise a team of sworn and non-sworn employees responsible for the administrative functions of the police department, who perform tasks that include criminal history, state/federal legal mandates, crash reporting, false burglar alarms, equipment purchasing and maintenance, and information technology systems. Oversee monthly and annual UCR reporting and PCCD compliance. Active in the recruitment of members from the community for employment. Coordinate with the Civil Service Commission over the hiring of new police officers, as well as the internal promotional process for current police officers. Serve as liaison to the police academy and supervise any enrolled cadets. Oversee the Internal Affairs functions of the police department, and perform investigations, as needed. Manage all training responsibilities for the department, including in-service and field training.2-Accreditation - Manage the department's state accreditation process to include ensuring compliance with established law enforcement standards and training for employees. Collaborating with the Chief of Police for the development of department policies. Ensuring the department remains in compliance with ever-changing standards.

Responsibilities included:Oversaw and supervised a team of over 60 sworn and non-sworn employees responsible for the daily patrol activities of the police department. Oversaw 5 Sergeants, who each supervised a platoon of over ten personnel, to include police officers and uniformed civilian police aides. Supervised and coordinated the functioning of a Traffic Safety Unit, School Resource Officers, Field Training Officers, and the Front Desk of the police department. Served as an investigator for the Internal Affairs investigative functions of the police department.

Represent the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association by responding to police agencies throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, who are seeking to retain or maintain accreditation through the Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission. Responsibilities include to ensure the department's compliance with accreditation standards and make recommendations to the Commission for the attainment or retention of accreditation or not.

Perform as a consultant to serve law enforcement agencies in Pennsylvania in order to assist them with obtaining and maintaining Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC) accredited status through the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association.

Perform as a consultant to serve law enforcement agencies in Pennsylvania in joining the Crimewatch network to enhance the way they release information and the methods for which the press and public receive and share public safety news.
