The mission of the California Department of Technology (Caltech) & the State's IT community is to support programs & departments in the delivery of state services & information through agile, cost-effective, innovative, reliable, and secure technology. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the IT Project Oversight Division (ITPOD). I assisted in the oversight, and execution of, various multi-million dollar IT projects throughout the State of CA. My main responsibilities included: -Collecting, compiling, maintaining and analyzing sensitive data from state agencies provided through standard reporting, the state budget, project reporting, and various surveys. -Utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, Access, SharePoint or other computer programs in support of analysis. -Generating several interactive dashboards from collected data and presenting findings to upper management. -Acted as a data steward throughout the department assisting with multiple data cleanup efforts.

As the VP of of Professional Relations, some things I was able to achieve included bringing innovative companies and students together to have meaningful conversations, developing and coordinating engaging events such as the first ever MISA Alumni event, and helped carry on the tradition of inclusivity, creativity, and hard work that MISA is known for. Management Information Systems Association (MISA) is a professional, student-run organization at CSU Sacramento that aims to help members build a dynamic network in their field of study.

As VP of Information Systems, some things I have taken initiative on include improving the MISA website (http://www.misasacramento.org/) by adding engaging content such as Student of the Week and Internships related to information systems available for MISA members, managing correspondence between the board and members, and searching for and implementing new technology to further allow MISA to achieve its goal as a student run organization: To help our members build a dynamic network in their field of study.

Provided customer-facing sales service and was responsible for the equal distribution of cash tips amongst team members.**6/10/19 Update: Looking back I realize how much I loved this job. The impact I was able to have on so many people's lives just by coming into contact with them for a few minutes, is something that I thoroughly enjoyed - I wish I could work this job on my free time as it very gratifying.
