Degree Completion Program at UC Merced is a partnership between University Extension and School of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts (SSHA) that creates a structure and support to build from faculty-defined academic programs, with campus-based benefits to students who are least likely to complete a UC degree with the goal of growing core facilities and offering degree completion pathways for UC stop out students. This project significantly expands degree completion opportunities in existing majors and certificate programs, with integrative support of comprehensive programming and specialized academic advising.Director of Degree Completion Program manages a discrete admissions and recruitment function of degree completion program. Formulates policies and procedures for the admissions and / or recruitment function. Develops the long and short term organizational goals of the unit. Represents the degree completion program internally and externally. Manages the operating budget and human resources of the degree completion program.

Manages daily operations of dual enrollment programs and courses, including coordinating the development of new programs or courses, growth and expansion of current programs and courses, evaluation of program and course implementation, the development and growth of partnerships with districts, faculty, staff, students, and other community partners.Coordinate and support with assessment of all Extension academic programs.Coordinates and evaluates the development and implementation and success of Extension programs including dual enrollment instructor and student training, course shell design, student and instructor support, course evaluations, assessment, and integration of external instructional support resources.Manages instructional technology for the Office of Extension, including learning management systems, course registration services, and implementation and integration of technology in learning environments. Leads initiatives in learning new technologies and evaluates potential applications for teaching and learning.Manages, coordinates, and assesses Extension course offerings and programs, including but not limited to dual enrollment, Teacher Preparation Program, and Brown Youth Academy. Represents Extension with regional education partners including dual enrollment high school sites, P-12 school sites associated with Extension programs and activities, including but not limited to Teacher Preparation, Brown Youth Academy, National Parks Institute, and Veterans Seminar.Manages, plans, and administers a range of administrative operations topics for the Dean of Extension and Associate Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management, and other duties as assigned by the Dean.Supervises and Classroom and Technology Support, including training and development, recruitment and hiring, project management, and classroom and technology strategy implementation.

Administrative Officer is a key member of the Office of Extension team in which provides administrative operations professional plans, administers and coordinate the daily operations of the Office of Extension under the direction of the Dean and Director. Assist the dean and director by overseeing the daily operation of topics in the areas of Human Resources, Budgets, Ledgers, Procurement, and Program Management.Provides direction to staff and students under the direction of the dean and director. Oversees calendars, schedules meetings with Extension staff, campus partners, and community partners. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Independently, respond to Extension inquiries. In a sense, perform chief of staff type duties for the Dean of Extension.

Founder and President of S.A.F.E. (Student-Athletes Focusing on Education). S.A.F.E. is a group of present and former University of California, Merced student-athletes of all sports and majors with the same determination and passion for leading a larger group of UC Merced student-athletes for creating opportunities, relationships, awareness, confidence, and positivity in our community's younger generation of student-athletes. It is our plan to work within our local middle and high schools by hosting events, meeting with student-athletes, raising awareness and fundraising for athletic programs by guiding, connecting, and sharing with the younger generations of student-athletes.

Provides leadership, support, and directions to the development and implementation of programs which maximizes the impact of available resources, meets the needs of youth and communities and is consistent with mission and goals of the agency. Ensures the evaluation of Club programs on a continual basis and ensures programs/activities respond to member needs and address their gender, age, and cultural diversity.Responsible for coordinating the delivery of grant programs to meet agency performance standards and grant requirements. Plan and implement a staff development and training program. Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Club's annual budget, ensuring that agency programs and activities are operated within established budgetary guidelines. Responsible for developing collaborative efforts with community organizations and governmental agencies, including staff development programs, internship programs, and youth development programs.

The Recreation & Parks Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to recreation and parks, considers the annual budget for recreation and parks during the process of its preparation and makes recommendations with respect thereto to the City Manager and to the City Council, and assists in the planning of a recreation program for the citizens of Merced.

Admissions Advisor covering the Modesto to Fresno region as a recruiter for freshman admission to the University of California, Merced. Provide admissions information at high school workshops, college fairs, and counselor conventions. Also serve as the supervisor for Transfer Inititiative student employees. Managing student employees to train and cover local community colleges for tabling and recruiting prospective transfer students.

As a marketing intern it is my duty and responsibility to redevelop the Recreation website for UC Merced RAD department. I assist RAD Program coordinators (Fitness, Outdoor Experience Program, Intramural Sports, & Sports Clubs) in strengthening their individual web pages. In this position, I will inquire skills involving photography, filming, web design, and communicational skills.

I have now been promoted to a Intramural Sports Supervisor. As a certified individual in first aid and CPR it is my responsibility to regulate and promote intramural sports events. Along with regulating and maintaining the safety of all students participating, it is also my responsibility of training newly hired employees for officiating, as well as I am in charge of maintaining intramural sport's equipment and fields.

I am apart of the first generation of Central Valley Leaders under Dr. Mark T Harris. It is my responsibility in engaging in and leading community projects to benefit the Central Valley. Currently along with developing community projects, I am also apart of a team of other fellow Central Valley Leaders in creating the company brand and identity.

It is my responsibility, as a certified first aid and CPR individual, to regulate the safety of student-atheletes while at practices and competitions.

I am currently using the summer to develop adequate skills in the music industry. These skills include production using the following softwares: Logic Pro, Final Cut, and Pro Tools. I also perform certain tasks for Blackalicious's management firm out of LA in helping the promotion of Blackalicious's up coming tour in August of this year. I directly with Blackalicious's music producer Chief Xcel and his assistant and music engineer Ron Cagayan in their studio headquartered at Zoo Labs Music Residency in Oakland, CA.

Assisting in the production of Dr. Bronner's Soap products. Activities ranged from filling soap contents, packaging products, preparing orders for the shipping department, and cleaning machinery.
