Independently directing the design and construction of development projects for private equity organizations as a third-party consultant across varied building types and geographic markets. My role has been comprehensive in overseeing the full cycle of development beginning with acquisition, leading design and engineering teams, and managing the construction all while mitigating vectors of risk at each phase of the project. In completing over 40 projects and working with a wide range of professionals, I have relied on an out-front and bottom-up leadership style underpinned by positive problem solving and a deep technical knowledge as a Builder and Architect. As a result, my client relationships have been long term and I have completed a majority of assets in their respective portfolios.

Conducted project oversight for a variety of leading capital market lenders while also managing the design and construction of select projects for private developers. My project oversight responsibilities revolved primarily around risk mitigation in ensuring thorough and complete contract agreements, comprehensive design coordination, construction techniques, safety, billing, scheduling, as well as cost and budget compliance. Investiture in the planning and documentation with follow through on construction operations were instrumental in maintaining long and durable relationships with both the lending institutions and their development partners. Simultaneously, I performed as a project manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations on several development projects.

The third architectural office of my tenure in Architecture, I started as a junior architect and rose to associate after successfully completing several high-profile projects in the office. Leading a small team, I was responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and budget compliance for a variety of civic and residential projects. A strong design sensibility combined with my background in construction resulted successful projects in terms of client satisfaction, public design recognition, and repeat business. Skills in visual thinking, modeling, drawing, and building were the centerpiece to my success within the practice.
