About Michael Pilkinton

While at Berklee studied sax under the greatest master of his day, the late great Joe Viola. Also with John LaPorta and studied arranging with trombone master Phil Wilson. Attended Peabody School of Music and Vanderbilt University. Member of the US Army band in Europe. Also has shared the stage with the Dave Clark Five, the Zombies ,Searchers and Billie Joe Royal. Shared the stage on many occasions with sax great Boots Randolph and was part of the music scene in home town of Nashville, TN.
