FarmingForProsperity.orgNew charity project established to bring sustainable agriculture and commerce via livestock farming to areas with a long history of poverty. Our donated animals provide partners with sustainable food and reliable income, including agricultural products such as milk, eggs, cheese and protein that can be traded or sold at market. Project was initially directly funded by the Pinson Family over the first year; built the first 1,700 sq. ft. free range chicken farm in Guatemala for a family of four who lived in a 350 sq. ft. home with no running water or power. This farm’s peak capacity is approximately 3,200 fresh eggs with an additional 300 new chickens per month. Project in current review to establish long term sponsorship to build additional farms.

• Led and flew an 11-person medical team to Haiti after the great earthquake that killed more than 250,000 people. • Arranged travel, security, logistics, medical supplies, personal/base camp, and on-island vehicles. • Created backup emergency evacuation plan through Dominican Republic in case of civil unrest. • Hired interpreters and established direct communications with US State Department, US Army, United Nations, the Haitian Ambassador, Brazilian Army and many other government and international organizations. • Partnered with the University of Miami Hospital and Medishare to support emergency tent hospital. • Pinson Foundation Medical Team performed major operations on patients, solely managed the entire hospital pharmacy 24/7, and treated patients arriving in the ER section at ground zero. • Received security clearance to accept more than $200,000 in food, tents, medical supplies and controlled substance medicine to stock the Medishare hospital, and to transport and distribute such supplies to local clinics and orphanages across the country.

In September 1990, St. Louis US Army Command asked Mr. Pinson to volunteer back active military duty to serve in the Gulf War as a Military Police officer. He did where he was attached to a US Army Military Police Reserve, and the 89th Military Police Brigade during and after the war. Mr. Pinson performed area security patrols, route security, POW processing, anti-terrorist reaction, law enforcement, transportation security, air strip operations security, recon. He was selected for two special assignments away from his unit. He was attached to the 16 Military Police Brigade Command for additional security for their Field Tactical Operations. Also served under US Government ATF and US Customs in the Middle East.At the end of the War, he had been hand selected for special assignment and a US Army MP / US Customs team leader where he and others where assigned under the US Army to work with the United States ATF, US Customs, and Department of Agricultural.In May 1991, Mr. Pinson was recognized for “Outstanding Performance and Service to his Country” by the US Department of Treasury / US Customs Service, and the 89th Military Police Brigade, for serving in the Persian Gulf War with high honor for preventing the smuggling of ammunition and weapons to the United States, which resulted in convictions, after the war had ended.Honorable discharge.
