Current- Contracted with various oil and gas companies across Alberta to assist with daily plant maintenance operations, collaborating with a cross-functional team of workers.- Conducted daily preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on various equipment and machinery, ensuring all work is completed on time, minimizing operational downtime.- Installed and replaced pumps, motors, bearing, and shafts, ensuring all refinery equipment are fully optimized to achieve the highest level of productivity.- Followed all lockout / tagout procedures, coordinating with site foreman to acquire needed work permits, in addition to conducting site assessments and hazard analysis to eliminate all safety hazards on site.- Read and analyzed blueprints and engineering drawings, coordinated project tasks with all team members, and ensured all requested work is completed according to the highest quality standard, in addition to meeting all client’s expectations.- Utilized various hand and power tools, including porta power, enerpac, precision hand tools, micrometers, laser leveling, torque wrenches, shackles, and slugs.- Operated a 2-way Radio to communicate with heavy equipment operators, coordinating daily maintenance tasks and site housekeeping.
