I concentrate my practice in construction law and commercial litigation. I have extensive experience representing owners, design professionals, contractors, subcontractors and sureties in construction and real estate matters including negotiating construction agreements and litigating complex construction disputes concerning mechanics liens, bonds, land use, defective construction, delays, changes, and personal injuries. My practice also includes representing clients in business disputes including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and post-closing indemnity disputes. I enjoy and welcome cases that present difficult and novel legal issues. I have been recognized by Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" from 2014 – 2024 and named to The Best Lawyers in America®: Ones to Watch list for 2023. In 2023, I was invited and selected to be a member of the Society of Illinois Construction Attorneys (SOICA).
