Graduating from Melbourne University with honours in Chemical Engineering and Science, Michael has also completed a Masters in Business Administration and a Diploma of Project Management.Michael's experience within mining includes: project assessment and development, operational optimisation, and strategic planning. Michael has experience within copper, zinc, iron ore, nickel, gold and within the oil & gas services industry.Michael was a founding member of New Century Resources (ASX:NCZ), acquiring the Century Zinc Mine from MMG in 2017. As Head of Development, Michael was a key member of the team responsible for development and execution of the re-start at Century.Other notable periods spent within strategic planning for the BHP (ASX:BHP) Iron Ore division and leading a Clean TeQ (ASX:CLQ) start-up focused on commercialising water treatment technology into the Oil & Gas industry
