As an out of hours partner in Waitrose, my tasks vary from shift to shift. Most recently I have been working with new staff that have joined the partnership. Tasks involve helping them to understand expected standards, on the job learning and answering any questions they might have. This has enabled me to gain a well rounded insight into the out of hours.

My role required a great amount of collaborative work with the teacher with whom I worked closely. Building a positive and encouraging environment for the children in which we worked with was very encouraging. Providing feedback and assistance on practical work throughout the day to various students with differing abilities was a lot of fun!
