Starting out,I was a Marine-An early out for college >honorable discharge 1973Work as laborer & Cement Mason in very hard physical trades & disciplines--18 years Became catastrophe Insurance Adjuster --a global change--rose to middle of road Adjuster,a difficult transformation not having basic skills acquired a beginning trade training . -- I was in front of hundreds of homeowners, many bent on taking advantage of their claim, I learned to negotiate and shift mental gears, I have high standards regarding grading skills, I was ,in comparative terms,in the upper 20% of Adjusters, but my self evaluation is idealistic ---9 years experience. Then I fell off a ladder while Adjusting, reluctantly knew and admitted it as caused type 2 diabetes . It was difficult admitting to. myself I could no longer rely on a physical that allowed me to dominate.Since then, I've gone back to school,grades good but accomplished little. Also, general health more or less now allows limited freedom . Just now learning to use a cane consistently use and moe rely that for stability.I will make an employer a dependable,hardworking work from home employee. As a cement Mason,,I never made less than 36k, as an Insurance Adjuster. In the last three year of Catastrophe Adjusting, I made $75k to $85k. My work ethic made it happen.Thanks, Mike Pollet.
