I am an Architect Engineer bearing a diploma (integrated master) degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since my studies years, I have been a keen enthusiast of architectural design, architecture theory and criticism as well as a vivid supporter of communicating architecture to the non-architects. Due to those interests, in 2011 we established, along fellow students, the platform archstudies.gr, for promoting architecture and design through publications, events and research. Early on in my career, I have worked as a collaborator of engineering offices, dealing with residential, commercial and urban infrastructure projects in Greece and abroad while also working on my personal projects and competitions. In 2016 I begun working as a freelancer, and during the period 2016-2018 I focused on the National Cadaster, as a field-works subcontractor for two major engineering corporations which have undertaken those public works contracts. In 2018 I established SPACEOP AEC, a multi-disciplinary office providing design, engineering, construction and digital fabrication services; aiming in the enhancement and re-evaluation of the traditional way of perceiving space, designing and planning, through the use of contemporary means and media. Along my colleagues, as well as our affiliate network, we have worked on various design scales that span from urban and extra-urban landscapes, to buildings and objects; providing our services to private clientele, public authorities of central administration and regional/local public authorities.
