In addition to my design & video editing responsibilities carried over from my previous title, my role as Digital Creative Manager has been expanded to encompass the following • Content DevelopmentAt WMG I led a push to redesign and rethink our content offerings to be more accessible and appealing to a younger demographic. This included establishing a video editorial platform & brand focused tone of voice. I conceptualised and creatively produced three major series alongside Warner Music Entertainment, In 60 Seconds, Instrumental and Milestones. I also created and edited my own short form video series called High Five, designed to be a quick overview of a legendary artists top five essential songs, tailored for Instagram and TikTok. In 2021 our original video content gained more than 3.5 Million views, with 60% of that coming from TikTok alone. • Content Management / StrategyA core pillar of my work at WMG is managing our video output - overseeing the rollout of video assets and clips across socials and various platforms such as YouTube / Spotify / Apple Music. I lead in strategising how to optimise this content across our platforms, as well as brainstorming new content ideas that we develop (details below), curating various sub brands and artist socials (e.g. The Smiths; New Order; Pink Floyd) with archive footage and new edits for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. and various upcoming web3 platforms effectively.• Single Covers / Graphic DesignDuring my time at WMG I have also designed various single and podcast covers for our artists, this hasincluded pitching designs to management, working on alternatives and delivering the finished product. • Lyric Videos / Art TracksI have created full-length art tracks and lyric videos for WMG’s biggest catalogue artists, many of whichI’ve led on both the conceptualisation and creation of. This involves close communication with high profile management on expectations, key attention to detail, and first-class execution.
