I am currently responsible for six service areas and approximately 150 staff which all sit within the Business Improvement, Human Resources and Communications business unit. This includes:All aspects of the HR service including pay and reward, business advisory, recruitment and safeguarding, HR analytics, employee wellbeing and benefits and commercial activities.Business improvement and intelligence which includes being responsible for the organisations strategic plan and performance management framework, provision of data, analytics and intelligence and also provision of the overview and scrutiny function. The service also has a commercial function providing data for locally managed schools and academies. Organisation and workforce improvement who provide workforce strategy advice, member development, organisation development strategy, provision of training, qualifications and assessment, future carers programme, equality and inclusion and a commercial arm delivering mainly to the care sector.Health and safety and emergency resilience including a commercial function delivering mainly to schools.Communications and marketing including emergency communications, responsibility for the organisations communications strategy, high level marketing campaigns, all media channels and behaviour change.Customer feedback, information, programme and project management including responsibility for the organisations complaints and compliments process, FOIs, SARs and EIAs, change management, worksmart and the programme and project management framework.

Responsible for communications and marketing, equality and inclusion; organisation and workforce improvement; corporate programmes, projects, customer feedback and improvement and business improvement and intelligence, member development and overview scrutiny.

Responsible for performance management, corporate plan and strategy development, local strategic partnership, equality and diversity, organisation development strategy.
