Ensure financial terms of contract with external vendors comply with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performance metrics and validate service credits.- develop custom reports using finance/accounting software, IBM Cognos software, MS Access data and/or spreadsheet data to support financial management and expenditure/recovery management for the Telecommunications Branch. - ensure financial statements are complete, meet the accounting policies of the Ministry of Finance and comply with related OPS policies, guidelines and directives.

- Performed administrative and financial duties working within a teamwork environment, which included: verifying and reconciling financial data, coordinating and chairing team meetings, assisting with branch corporate initiatives, participating on multiple concurrent cross-functional project teams.- Assisted in coordinating end of year Certificate of Assurance validations and attestations, to ensure financial management best practices are being followed and proper internal controls are in place.- Developed improved processes for Purchase Card / Travel Card monitoring through creation of an MS Access database and associated monitoring processes.- Supported ongoing divisional restructuring and expenditure management initiatives.- Produce reports and business documentation, to support senior management decision making. - Developed and delivered training on financial issues and processes, to ensure ongoing compliance with controllership best practices.
