My professional career is actually simple, I learned the hotel business from scratch at Hotel Imperial Vienna back in 1978 always with the goal to become a succesfull leader in the hospitality industry and to proceed an international career. It seems that I have done well,with 24 years of age ,back in 1986 I was already Hotel Manager of very unique product at Sea called Sea Goddess and was the youngest Hotel Manager in the fleet of Cunard Line.Since 1984 and therefore the past 34 years, I always held Senior Management positions and had the great luck always being able to work for the best employers and top of line Enterprises at Sea and land based Corporations . Over all these years I can proudly refer to a very successful track record in operational, strategic ,financial and human leadership as well as excellent references from all former employers . I was also able to gain extensice knowledge in regard to pre openings of land based hotels – Resorts and city hotels and in further developing cruise vessels , dry dock pre planning and execution of dry-dock hotel project management . I simply love the hospitality industry and the daily challenges, whereby I always say don´t be afraid for challenges, those are opportunities. To summarize the above , I see myself as being a very successful with 30+ years of experience in the industry in Senior Management positions , as a person being very analytical , transmitting experience and knowledge to the Team in order to assure the Corporate Operating and financial targets are met and suggestions for improvements in all areas are a daily task. My Management style is simple – be visible – be around , be inter and pro active active , mangle with guests and crew, share views, learn out of mistakes, make mistakes not repeatable , be constant on the track and plan ahead .Ensure guests expectactions are overtopped and make your team to go the extra mile with a smile and love what you are doing.
