My role as an Attendant Support Officer is to assist clients who visit the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre. We at Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre pride ourselves on the importance of making sure our clients feels some sort of satisfaction when visiting our centre. This involves working with our clients and making sure that they are comfortable using our facilities such as the gym and our pools. This program is important because it gives people who may need that extra assistance/confidence in the pool or gym that helping hand to achieve their goals.While in the pool I have also assisted in taking some of our "Swim School" classes which is teaching kids how to swim and survival skills (treading water).My biggest achievement is seeing our clients become more confident and independent in the pool/gym without having to rely on us all the time. This makes me feel proud because I get to see the development of our students in their swimming strokes. Along with being in the water as an Attendant Support Officer, I have been assisting in Customer Service Team. In this role I have assisted with sales, taking new clients on tours showing them around our amazing facility, packing membership bags for new members who join our centre, tidying up different areas (our sensory room) and assisting members with any other queries or concerns. It taught me abit more about how it's nice to be helpful to others especially when it makes everyone else's jobs a lot more enjoyable.

My role as a Instructor is to teach kids how to swim and more importantly about water safety. It's part of my job assist co-workers on how to educate children about what is safe and what is not around water. As well as teach them the main strokes of swimming such as Freestyle, Backstroke, Butterfly and Breast stroke.
