I was employed by Victory Martial Arts from 2013- 2023. Being the manager (Chief Instructor) of one of 50 locations nationwide gave me extensive experience working in teams and with clients. I have been certified through the ATA (American taekwondo association) which is an organization that connects and certifies Martial Arts schools around the world. I started training in Taekwondo from the age of 10, and started teaching at the age of 15 and continued to the age of 25. I learned to love the exciting challenge of developing relationships with families in the community, along with growing students of all ages to reach their fullest potential. I was promoted to chief instructor at the age of 19 after 4 years of teaching, which required numerous out of state trainings. To ensure the quality of my teaching and ability to manage/lead I was quite frequently sent by the company to business meetings across the nation to learn from the best. Due to spinal surgery I decided to discontinue working at Victory Martial Arts in october of 2023 so that I can focus on college to do a career transition into Human resources. I look forward to earning my industry/organisational psychology degree so that I may further improve my ability to influence and lead others! Current update: I am scheduled to receive my AA degree in spring of 2025, and I will finished my SHRM certification course in March of 2025.

  As Chief Instructor, it is my duty to develop people from all ages to hit their maximum potential at school, home, and in the work place. To do so I must efficiently communicate, set goals with, and monitor the progress of all 250 students at my current location. I am also in charge of expanding the school to increase the student population!
