This position is accountable for the administration, maintenance and support of servers and data storage systems, network directory services, and enterprise communication and collaboration systems in a data center environment. It includes planning, development, design, configuration, implementation, monitoring, maintenance and support of these systems and services. The position also provides technical evaluation and recommendations for new systems hardware, software and supporting utilities, and acts as a third-tier escalation resource to resolve problems with desktop systems software, hardware and peripheral equipment.

The Desktop Analyst Lead’s primary role is to coordinate work and act as an escalation point to otherdesktop analysts. The lead will help create standard work to deliver consistent, efficient, effective serviceand solutions to all Polyclinic employees and patients. Responsible for monitoring compliance tostandards, coordinating projects, training and mentoring staff, suggesting process improvements,providing status reports and ticket metrics, and ensuring that IT equipment is properly maintained

Greater Seattle Area

Provide leadership to the Desktop Analyst group to ensure successful execution of daily operations to monitor, operate and control/maintain computers and related peripheral equipment, including troubleshooting, ongoing maintenance and repair. Must anticipate problems and take preventive action, as well as troubleshoot and solve problems that occur during operations, working directly with vendors if required. Ensure that the Desktop Services team provides the highest level of customer service support to our physicians and end users by teaching and documenting processes and also supporting the Desktop Support Supervisor as needed. Help to coordinate activities and recommend priorities to ensure deadlines are met and provide expert skills and insight on operations for new staff including helping to up skill and work with them to educate on how things work. Provide activity and progress reports on the status of projects and Help Desk calls/tickets directly to the supervisor. Work as a member of a project team for new desktop system implementations.

Seattle

Works as part of a team to monitor, operate and control/maintain computers and related peripheral equipment, including troubleshooting, ongoing maintenance and repair. To provide support services to internal and external users of the organization’s information systems and data processing network, assisting staff with resolution of technology issues and problems with computers, software, printers and other supported devices. Anticipate problems and take preventive action, as well as troubleshoot and solve problems that occur during operations, working directly with vendors if required.

Tacoma

Selected to act as the Hardware Deployment Lead for the system-wide Epic electronic medical record implementation at Franciscan Health System in Tacoma, WA. Responsible for the organization and management of tasks and resources needed to deploy 1800+ end-user devices in 200+ locations. Included in the roll-out are desktop computers, computer-on-wheels, monitors, tablets, scanners, barcode scanners, printers, kiosks, tablets and other mobile devices, as well as wall-mount installations needed in both outpatient ambulatory clinics and inpatient hospital room settings.
