Working in a state of the art additive manufacturing research and development lab at J&J, I have:• Led the development of a new 3D printing material (Custom 455 Stainless-Steel) and conducted a technical review to the J&J Community. • Optimized titanium and stainless-steel alloy 3D printing system parameters by creating experiments for analyzing mechanical characteristics through tensile and hardness testing and part density testing.• Analyzed interstitial elements using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy and inert gas fusion infrared & thermal conductivity detection for a variety of stainless steel and titanium alloys.• Learned 3D printing design principles to properly orientate model, generate support, and slice to maximize the success of a build (plastic and metals).

Designed (CAD & FEA) and constructed a rocket and solid fuel grain (O class) with the capability of reaching an altitude of 30,000 feet. Active member in structures, propulsion, and aerodynamics sub teams.

Supervise and instruct on the use of tools such as: bandsaws, table-saw, jointers, etc.

Educate middle school students on mechanical engineering and programming principles through the construction of a robot constructed with EV3 technology.
