Department manager for a busy, ever-growing Foodservice Department. I oversee the daily mangement of all operations & distributional activities within the department. I also manage & implement all aspects of health & safety, road safety and food safety.

Reporting directly to the branch General Manager my duties include management of Health & Safety systems and Food Safety systems at site, I am responsible for ensuring implementation of group policies & procedures at the site. I am also responsible for accident reporting and accident investigation at the site. I undertake site risk assessments and H&S walk-round inspections. Responsible for site safety committee co-ordination and management.Other duties that are my responsibility include; contractor management, fire alarm systems, manual handling instructor, site training arrangements, first aid training, operational (warehouse & distribution) management, asbestos management, HR duties.... to name a few.

Quality control checks of all incoming raw materials. Quality Assurance checks of all cooked materials before sign-off for positive release onto next process. Daily mamangement of all Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
