On any given day, I was responsible for: managing news crews, writing breaking news for online publication, managing social media channels, coordinating live shots for television, planning coverage for the day and beyond, and copyediting web content provided by reporters.

I worked with companies by producing content to bolster search engine optimization ranking. I created blogs and other written content that is also used for social media content and email marketing campaigns — both of which I assist with.

I tutor Principles of Microeconomics and Principles of Macroeconomics.My job description includes working with peers in both small and large group settings, planning and executing test prep sessions and providing study resources available on demand through Tegrity and OneNote.

Over the span of a few months, I contributed to the Washington Daily News covering East Carolina baseball. I gained experience reporting on live sporting events, writing game stories and features on print deadlines and conducting interviews. Since completing my internship, I have continued to contribute to the WDN on a sporadic basis before becoming its Sports Editor in Oct. 2015.

I was admitted to Bleacher Report as a contributing writer in December 2011. I mainly wrote about the WWE, with a little NHL thrown in, too.By January 2012, I completed my trial period and became an official WWE Featured Columnist. I joined the ranks of some of Bleacher Report's most respected writers and my work was given more exposure.Upon completing Bleacher Report's Sportswriting Internship in December 2012, I was given a trial as a Pittsburgh Penguins Featured Columnist. In January 2013, I stepped down as a WWE Featured Columnist to become more involved with Bleacher Report's NHL section. Since then, I've focused exclusively on the Penguins, while also writing about the NHL in general, too.

During my time as an intern at Bleacher Report, I was expected to complete five assignments a week. I wrote about the NHL, which actually wasn't playing because of a lockout during my internship term, and the WWE.I was presented with the challenge of expanding my horizons during the internship, too. I ended up writing about football, basketball, baseball and soccer for the first times. I can now say I'm confident in my abilities to cover sports other than hockey and wrestling.
