As the Director of Technical Services my primary role is to complete the Part 2 - Description of Rehabilitation and Part 3 - Certification of Completed Work applications for the historic tax credit program. I work closely with our clients and their architects on appropriate design within the Department of Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation.Additionally, I serve in a support role for architectural history and historic district survey work.

At Undiscovered Classics I work alongside Geoff Hacker, Ph.D., who is the premier researcher, archivist, and author of the history of handcrafted American sports cars. Undiscovered Classics researches, uncovers, and restores these rare cars of the postwar era, many of which are unique designs executed in the wonder material of the day, fiberglass. Through our avid research and publications, we contextualize the importance of these cars and the hand-built movement of the 1950s and early 60s within the larger classic car hobby, what we call the greatest American car story never told.This work has led to multiple and continued showings at prestigious concours events including Pebble Beach and Amelia Island as well as television appearance including Jay Leno’s Garage, AmeriCarna, and the Barn Find Hunter. Our work has also been published extensively in both print and electronic media in addition to our own publications.

Preservation Buffalo Niagara (PBN) was established in 2008. Built on the more than 30-year history of our predecessor organizations, the Landmark Society of the Niagara Frontier and the Preservation Coalition of Erie County, PBN is committed to bringing resources and results that ensure that our historic places thrive for generations to come.

My writing for Buffalo Spree centers around historic buildings being revived and rehabilitated for new uses throughout Buffalo. In addition to writing my monthly articles, I provide my own photographs that accompany the stories.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors at the CTRC I also served on the Real Estate Development (RED) committee. The RED team is tasked with creating a rehabilitation plan, attracting potential tenants, and finding an appropriate use for the building that respects its historic nature and benefits the overall reuse.
