As owner and operator of Purkhiser Electronics, I have been building and repairing vintage tube amplifiers for the past 40 years. I do restorations, repairs, modifications, and new builds. I also have done live sound engineering, studio engineering and producing for many bands over the years including but not limited to1964 The Tribute, American English, The Return, The Black Keys, and The Cramps.

I head up audio repairs nationally for the Production Resource Group. We repair large and small audio equipment used in the live sound industry.

I was the FOH engineer with "RAIN! A Tribute to The Beatles". My responsibilities include:mixing the live show sound for the audience, setting up the sound system, set up/tear down of front of house equipment, mic'ing up the stage, supervising loading/unloading, tuning the PA system, creating the show file for the digital mixing board, and other miscellaneous responsibilities.

My position with Hard Day's Night is to oversee and run the lighting and sound production of live performance venues. We perform nationwide at many different venues and events. This is a part time touring band, with approximately 25 dates a year.

Examples include Carnegie Hall, The Cavern Club, Red Rocks, Bass Hall, outdoor festivals,etc. I also engineered and co produced "1964"s 2 cds, one live and one studio.
