I am a Navy Veteran currently working as a subsystems engineer at RAYTHEON TECHNOLOGIES. I received my BSME and MSSE from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. I'm an extremely hard worker with a lot of grit, I welcome challenges in all shapes and forms. I worked as an Engineering Intern for Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems, in which I designed, assembled and integrated mechanical systems, created related drawings in support of programs drawing release timeline, coordinated with vendors to obtain custom parts ensuring to meet program requirements, conducted table top review of proposed drawings, and supported multiple programs in the development of radars and sensors. Prior to that, I participated in an onsite four day workshop for NASA's Community College Aerospace Scholars at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in which I led an assembly team to coordinate with design and research team to build and test a rover to meet mission specific tasks. Our design led us to a first place victory in the competition, breaking all previous records. During this time I also managed the project budget and maintained an inventory of parts. My service in the Navy has equipped me with all the necessary skills to tackle any challenges or obstacles that may come my way. I'm constantly seeking professional and personal growth, while helping others along the way. I believe the biggest asset to any company is the people it employs, and I enjoy bringing those people together towards a common goal- growth.
