    My tenure with Susquehanna dates back to September of 1991 when I joined Equity National Bank as an EVP and Chief Credit Officer of the Bank. Over the next six years my responsibilities expanded to being the President / Director of the Bank. After the sale of the Bank to Susquehanna in 1997, I held various positions at the Holding Company including Executive Vice President responsible for the nine member banks.In 2007, I was asked to become the Chief Credit Officer of the Holding Company, member of the Executive Management Team and Director of the Bank's BOD. The Great Recession became the focal point of my responsibilities due to the heavy concentration of commercial and residential real estate. Our focus was mitigation of potential losses & future risk within the loan portfolio.Key members of the team were Christopher Holt, Chief Credit Risk Officer/EVP of the Bank and SVP @ the Holding Company; Dominic Pasta, SVP @ the Holding Company /Asset Recovery; Cindy Ciuffo, SVP @ the Holding Company, portfolio analytics and implementation of dual risk rating systems; Michael Gonzalez, SVP @Holding Company in charge of fulfillment & Tom Inserra SVP @ Holding Company/ Collateral Management.Major accomplishments: Reduction of non- performing assets to the lower range of the peer group with significant recoveries; implementation of a dual risk rating system and creation of a stress test model that formed the basis of the DFAST submission. These accomplishments were part of the process that enabled the Bank to increase its capital base during the recession, acquire two significant acquisitions in 2011 and 2012 and generally receive favorable reviews from rating agencies, institutional investors and Regulators.Previous Banking career span from 1970 to 1988 with Industrial Valley Bank in Philadelphia and Midlantic Bank in southern New Jersey. Positions were in small business lending, commercial lending and a head of real estate lending in S. New Jersey.
