Senior Financial Analyst
As a member for the HQDA G-48 Resource Management team, we lead the budget forecasting for the entire U.S. Army's Logistics requirements worldwide. We worked with all seven logistics directorates plus the other Army G-Staff's to compete for funding and request resources for emerging requirements. During my time we implemented a new operating for the G-4 Directorates use to increase funding and requirements transparency. This first required that we became system experts and then sitting down with our program managers to teach them how to use the system. We routinely reported directly with senior army leadership to ensure they had the correct information that was timely and accurate. During my time in the G-4 I was selected to serve as the temporary Executive Officer to the Principal Deputy, HQDA G-4 while the position was vacant. This experience gave me exposure to and the ability to directly assist and influence the Army's Senior Leadership what I otherwise would not have been able to experience at my level.
