As a current first generation 1L student and Double ‘Cane at the University of Miami School of Law, pursuing a Juris Doctor, my legal journey began as a first generation college student studying a Bachelor of Business Administration in Legal Studies and Accounting from the University of Miami Herbert Business School.During my undergraduate years, I honed my passion for law and business law through clerkships at Richards & Partners, P.A. and La Rosa Law, where I gained practical experience in drafting legal documents, conducting research, and providing valuable support to attorneys.My internships at PwC enhanced my skills in accounting and leadership, exposing me to diverse aspects of client management, data analysis, and international team collaboration.At Richards & Partners, I contributed to various tasks, including estate planning, tax research, and compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Corporate Transparency Act and §692.203, Fla. Stat. My role included drafting legal documents, analyzing statutes, and helping advise clients on business matters. I mostly used Bloomberg Law while at Richards & Partners.Similarly, at La Rosa Law, I rough drafted demand letters, complaints, and contracts, while also managing trademark filings and conducting legal research using tools like LexisNexis.With a strong academic background, practical experience, and a passion for jurisprudence, I am positioned to continue my passions in areas such as business law, international law, appellate-level law, intellectual property law, maritime law, and healthcare law.During my tenure as Vice President of Alpha Lambda Delta, I had the privilege of meeting exceptional individuals and engaging in meaningful leadership and service opportunities. This experience not only enhanced my abilities but also fostered my personal and professional development, strengthening my leadership skills and commitment to making a positive impact.
