About Michael R. H. Ratte

After my management studies in Germany, I started a classic purchasing carrier and gathered more than 11 years of experience in supply chain management and global sourcing of load bearing post tensioning metal and casting parts for DYWIDAG-Systems International in Munich, Germany and Hong Kong, China. As head of Far East Logistics within the region, I set up 1995 the entire global sourcing network and focused on consolidation of all regional purchasing activities and a Far East specific QM conform sourcing system. Having returned to Munich after 6 years in China, I founded in April 1999 HMI Products GmbH where I established a sales and marketing business unit of HMI Group in Germany (Regional Head Office Europe). I shifted to service orientated and value added off shore - outsourcing services and consultancy. My major industries knowledge is located in construction,high end design sanitary, merchandising and promotion accessories, R&D Prototyping of innovative lifestyle products.
