Responsible for coordinating all delivery activity, personnel matters, strategy, business transformation and an ever-expanding portfolio of activities commensurate with the role. Lead consultant for a wide portfolio of projects for the MoD including COMPASS which was nominated for Best Public Sector Digital Project in the Digital Technology Leader Awards 2020.

Trained newly promoted executives, primarily British Army and Royal Marine Officers, to prepare them for planning and leading large-scale projects/operations anywhere in the world. Lead on training for UK national resilience planning, such as military support to COVID 19 activity.

Responsible for the recruitment, staffing, training, development and deployment of all Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) from the North West of the UK to anywhere in the world. Acted as the focal point for all matters requiring a British Army input for North Wales. Delivered a change programme 6 months ahead of schedule as part of a comprehensive British Army restructuring programme. As part of the change programme, regularly briefed at Board level and to high ranking politicians: routinely answered Prime Minister and Parliamentary Questions.

Mentoring the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor on all matters regarding officer training for the Afghan National Army Officer Academy for over 2000 cadets plus over 200 Afghan staff whilst leading a multinational training team.

Principle Programme Officer for the RMAS Group. Coordinated the delivery of British Army Officer recruitment, selection, initial and subsequent training for very senior officers , University Officer Training Corps and the British Army Officer alumni organisation; in all over 7000 personnel . As the flagship location for the British Army, routinely oversaw the hosting of over 1000 guests to the site on a monthly basis. Ensured that national and international dignitaries, including visiting Heads of State and Crown representatives were received and hosted appropriately to ensure seamless visits.

Lead Project Officer supporting the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force in the implementation of the Total Support Force element of Defence Future Force 2020. Additionally, a key member of the development team for the Defence Policy on the future employment of Reserves; delivered the first ever Ministry of Defence national consultation. Regularly briefed the Secretary of State for Defence and wrote his speech for Parliament for the publication of the Future Reserves 2020 White Paper.

Senior Engineer for all armoured systems in support of UK forces deployed in Afghanistan. Led a team of over 120 engineers and technicians in challenging conditions. The role encompassed all areas associated with the day to day management of such a complex challenge from personnel and training through to logistics, budgets and engineering decisions. Subsequently deployed to Canada as the senior engineer in the British Army Training Unit Suffield with overall responsibility for over 1000 vehicles operating at any one time. Both roles were continued whilst working in the UK base.

Early career of British Army Officer with a Commission with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Multiple appointments including senior engineer with the British Battle Group in the Balkans (2000/2001) and senior engineer with the Joint Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Regiment (2001-2003).
