Aerospace Structures, StressResponsible for providing technical leadership to the structural component engineering teams for all program stress analysis activities.

Responsible for providing technical guidance to component engineering teams through leading, organizing, and coordinating all program loads development and stress analysis activities.

Responsible to integrate activities and lead the engineering component teams in the design, development, analysis, qualification and certification of thrust reverser assembly. Manage a global team of 30+ engineers in the US, Mexico, Singapore, and India.

Integrated global thrust reverser stress team of 20+ engineers in all stress-related aspects product development including loads, methodology, and documentation up to and through certification of the A320neo.

Directed a team of individuals performing the stress validation of the TR translating sleeve design in accordance with the program technical requirements. Successfully completed the stress analysis in support of the first test units.

Directed a team of individuals performing the stress validation of the EBU design in accordance with the program technical requirements. Performed analysis of engine external ducting, tubes, and harness supports.

Evaluated all technical aspects of non-rotating structural components in commercial jet engines and auxiliary power units through use of classical and finite element methods, as well as engine and component testing. Ensure design intent and flight safety requirements are successfully satisfied in support of development, assembly, manufacturing, aftermarket reparability, and in-service related issues. Perform analysis individually or as the team lead with global team member support. Conduct design reviews at critical analytical stages and document work in internal and external technical reports, including FAA documentation.

Integrated all input from the component design groups into a feasible and manufacturable design. Created CAD models to graphically represent preliminary and final design configurations and oversee the production of technical drawings. Interacted with the manufacturing COE to gain insight into cost burdens created by the engineering requirements and explored reduction initiatives that would not adversely impact design intent. Ensured form, fit, and function of produced hardware.
