I worked as a Postal Inspector (federal criminal investigator) for 14 years before agreeing to become part of the Office of Counsel for the Postal Inspection Service. As an Inspection Service attorney I handle federal forfeitures, employee personnel matters, and serve as the legal subject matter expert for criminal investigations involving the sending and receiving of narcotics through the mails.I retire from my US Postal Inspection Service position in May 2013 and am open to other opportunities as a consultant or for occasional criminal trial work, but am not looking for full time employment. Prosecuting attorney on federal cases dealing with organized crime. Was lead attorney on 1st case on federal level where the admissability of DNA was challenged. Result was the first time DNA was admitted as evidence in a contested federal trial.
