As a creative yet pragmatic federal Human Resources leader, I have been honored to spearhead change throughout the USDA Human Resources programs by using my technical skills and creative abilities to lead HR initiatives, providing solid policy guidance, audit support, workforce planning, talent acquisition, total rewards, and government-wide initiatives to over 29 agencies and their 100,000+ employees worldwide with diverse missions ranging from wildland fire management and food safety to agriculture economics and inspectors. Under my leadership, the Office of Human Resources Management Policy Division has flourished, providing direction for administering USDA's human resources programs and initiatives, and offering advisory assistance to the Secretary, Mission Areas, Staff Offices, and other policy officials to support informed decision-making regarding USDA's human resources programs.With an unwavering dedication to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, I have created and implemented cutting-edge strategies to boost employee engagement, promote diversity and inclusion, and strengthen our talent management framework by finding the right people for the right jobs and cultivating them into experts and leaders.
