**Taught a wide range of undergraduate courses with consistently superior course ratings, including mechanical engineering and manufacturing courses (strength of materials, metallurgy, and machine design), chemistry (general chemistry, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry), and mathematics (intermediate trigonometry). **Applied market and product knowledge to purchase, stock, and manage the chemistry laboratory. In addition, I helped secured equipment donations and purchased equipment to build a state of the art robotics lab for advanced manufacturing. **Managed a team of faculty and students, across three academic divisions, on a multi-year National Science Foundation grant to develop an integrated, application-based curriculum in advanced manufacturing. Results included a new robotics laboratory, increased enrollment, a reduction in the repetitive curriculum to streamline courses, and a mentorship program for students.**Advised many student groups and clubs on various projects including pigment synthesis and chemical safety for the Art Club, engineering for the eV Grand Prix Team (students built an electronic vehicle to race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway), and the purchase and use of scientific equipment such as a state-of the-art telescope (Meade 12”) for the Astronomy Club.

As the Committee Chair for the Ohio Federation of Teachers (OFT) Higher Education Committee (2012-2014), and an Executive Committee member for OFT (2017), I regularly provided oral and written testimony for various legislative bodies, drafted resolutions for the OFT State convention, guiding state legislators regarding Higher Education issues.
