 Review inspection intervals for pressure vessels, piping, above ground storage tanks, boilers & heaters and assign inspection intervals accordingly. Manage turnaround inspection personnel to ensure all require inspections are completed. Build repair & alteration procedures for equipment – Vessels, Boilers, Thermal Liquid Heating Systems, Aboveground Storage Tanks, Exchangers (BAHX, Shell & Tube), B31.3 Piping, EPE’s Ensure repairs & alterations meet jurisdictional requirements. Provide cost tracking of repairs, alterations, inspections. Perform Pre-Startup Safety Reviews Act as SME for MOC’s Assist in reviewing engineering QC packages for closeout of MOC work. Enter integrity data using SAP program. Perform inspections of tanks, pressure retaining equipment and piping. Assist engineering with guidance on engineering standard reviews, MOC specifications to use, jurisdictional requirements for completion of MOC, jurisdictional boundaries. Review and approve for company use, Welding Procedure Specifications, PQR, WPQ. ASME IX, Z662, W47.1 scope covered. WPS’s reviewed for applicability for specific work to B31.3, ASME I, ASME VIII, Z662, W59  Project Manage Fitness For Service evaluations using API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 guidelines

 Serve as the onsite construction representative that manages all quality assurance, quality control, reporting, and documentation requirements for the Wapiti Liquids and Gas Fractionation Plant construction project. Meet quality standards by overseeing operations, allocating resources, coordinating inspections, monitoring 3rd party service providers, performing audits, reporting daily progress reports / status updates, and by effectively communicating with the construction manager, QA/QC, and engineering personnel. Optimize performance by reviewing inspection test plans (ITPs), approving quality programs, introducing cost-effective improvements, supervising / mentoring QA and QC staff, maintaining a safe working environment, and by ensuring regulatory compliance. Helped revise and update (was a collaborative effort) Keyera’s in house welding specification.  Also performed direct shop surveillance for manufactured API Tanks, ASME VIII heat exchangers and ASME Sec I Waste Heat Recovery Unit. Advised on the code requirements for installation of the ASME Sec 1 WHRU. Inspections were in Canada and the US Built the system turnover plan and assist with final turnover to commissioning.
