I provide spiritual, creative, and administrative leadership for a non-profit Gospel and Hip Hop group in downtown Eau Claire. The group exists to "CollECtivly proclaim Jesus through exuberant praise." Our members span different Christian denominations, ages, colors, and economic status, and we display the one-ness of the "Body of Christ". We particularly have a heart for engaging the outsiders, and people at the fringe of society in missional music community. We particularly have a heart for engaging the outsiders, and people at the fringe of society in missional music community. We perform wherever we can - in high profile places and in smaller community touch-points. Our biggest compliment has been, "When I see you guys, I see a picture of the kingdom of God!" I am the owner and performer in an Original Pop/Soul/Rock and Roll group called the Michael Rambo Project. We just released an EP in August of 2012, and are working to release a full length album in March of 2013. We focus on telling frustrated people what their world could be like if they come back to God through Jesus Christ. I am also the owner and performer in a Traditional Irish Pub Band Called the Shillelagh Lads. They are in residency at Houligans Steak and Seafood pub in Eau Claire, WI, and are more likened to dinner theater than a band. I also have worked in the studio helping different people with their recordings, and performed at weddings and funerals and private parties. But my focus is on communicating through music. Show less

I teach people the joy music. Then I teach them to learn: Music for enjoyment, Music for service, Music for life. I am an artist, and am obligated in some shape or form to pass my trade on to other aspiring artists. It is by equipping others that I can serve more people than ever by just myself.

I equip musicians for the work of the ministry inside and out of the church campus. I give them permission to be creative by being creative myself. I give them permission to be themselves by being myself (musically speaking). I seek to inspire excellence by being excellent. My hope is that as we work together, people would see our good works and give glory to God.

I coordinate music for Sunday morning gatherings for Fellowship Church. I often personally lead the music team in creating an atmosphere through music and art that is conducive to focusing on God, and encourage folks to give God praise and thanksgiving, as expressed predominantly through music.
