I have previously co-founded two highly successful start-ups in the wireless sector. The most recent, BlueTree Wireless Data, Inc. (BTW), based in Montreal. BTW was initially privately funded, then via an IPO on the Toronto Venture Exchange. BTW, was purchased by a private equity funded company based in New York, Sixnet LLC. As of CEO of BTW, I was responsible for development, commercialization, and sales of its wireless cellular product portfolio and provided a leadership role in negotiation of key strategic alliances. Prior to BTW, I was a co- founder of CBCI Telecom and positions leading both sales and operations. CBCI was a national provider of wireless services to the Canadian Fortune 500. CBCI Telecom was profiled as one of the 100 fastest growing companies in Canada for two consecutive years. CBCI became publically funded through an IPO. After posting three successful quarters CBCI was purchased by Tandberg, a public company trading on the Oslo exchange. I attended the University of British Columbia’s undergraduate faculty of science and holds a Certificate of Collegiate Studies from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.My belief is that the key to any entrepreneurial venture’s success is all about finding the right people. Then allow those leaders to flourish by providing good tools, in a supportive team environment. My current passion is shared between assisting new entrepreneurs in achieving their goals and managing a personal real estate portfolio in Ontario and Quebec.
