Michael is a business owner and educator with an enthusiastic ability to lead and motivate others.Michael owns and operates ASPIRE OSHC, a highly structured and organised onsite Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) business.ASPIRE OSHC opened its' first service at St. Paul's Camden in January 2014. ASPIRE OSHC now operates over 45 services at Catholic, independent and public schools in NSW.In addition, Michael is a Managing Director of ASPIRE EDUCATION & CARE GROUP Pty Ltd. ASPIRE ECG provides education and care to children 0-6 through their quality early childhood programs delivered in purpose built long day care centres. Aspire Early Learning Centre in West Wyalong opened in late 2022. We look forward to opening new purpose built long day care centres, starting in the Riverina district of NSW and expanding nationally. Michael has experience as General Manager for a national franchise brand in Australia in the education and care industry. The National role involved developing the business across the country in selling franchises and mentoring new and existing franchisees in optimising their businesses. In addition, Michael met with key stakeholders in the education sector interested in partnerships to provide quality before and after school care services within their schools. Michael has previously worked in education as a teacher and School Sports Manager. He has led and developed hundreds of young people with his ability to engage them, and his enthusiastic approach with the students being one of his many strengths. Michael worked closely with the schools rugby league and hockey program, mentoring players and coaches and had built a solid foundation which has seen the school achieve success across junior, senior and girls teams. Michael has a natural ability in effectively communicating with a variety of stakeholders involved in the education and sports sector. These skills were developed and refined having previously served in the New South Wales Police Force.
