I'm an Associate Director of Materials Science at Schrödinger. We accelerate R&D timelines through our physics-based simulation and machine learning platform (molecular and periodic quantum mechanics, molecular dynamics, coarse-graining, ML/AI). https://www.schrodinger.com/materials-science/Key areas of focus: catalysis & reactivity, polymeric materials, organic electronics, batteries/energy capture and storage, consumer packaged goods (food & beverage, cosmetics, personal care, etc.), pharmaceutical characterization and formulation, and semiconductor/ALDWith respect to my academic background, I have a PhD from Columbia University in synthetic organometallic chemistry as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. Afterwards I pursued a postdoctoral role in organic chemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science as a Zuckerman Postdoctoral Scholar. There I focused on reaction mechanism elucidation for green chemical transformations by coupling experimental and computational chemistry. Afterwards I joined Schrödinger.
