Member of the organizational startup team. PPF is the the national sports association for pickleball. Our mission is to promote pickleball in the Philippines, throughout Asia and the world and qualify the sport for the Southeast Asian games and eventually join the IOC and participate in the Olympics. Member of the original company startup team. Regional distributor providing sales and technical support for a number of enterprise level, software development and medical imaging companies. Responsible for establishing the countries largest medical imaging business with over 75 installed sites. Providing first and second level technical support to mission critical software installations around the globe and HL7 software development services to a growing list of regional hospitals and clinics.

Member of the Board of Directors. The concept of an international federation to manage the sport of pickleball was first advanced in 2010 by members of USA Pickleball (then USAPA). The "International Federation of Pickleball" or IFP, was formally established in 2015 to promote, develop and advance the sport globally and eventually join the IOC and bring pickleball to the Olympics. As Secretary I worked closely with the President to develop the organization, execute programs, and liaise with dozens of volunteer directors and others to advance the sport globally. I also served as Co-chair of the IFP Rulebook committee, managing the official pickleball rulebook. (https://www.ifpickleball.org)

Member of the organizational startup team. The Asian Federation of Pickleball (AFP), was the first of five continental federations established under the direction of the International Federation of Pickleball (IFP). The AFP was established to jointly govern and promote the sport of pickleball throughout Asia and to organize training programs and tournaments for the benefit of its member countries. As Secretary General my role was to coordinate and minute meetings, participate in organizational planning and execute assigned responsibilities. (https://www.afpickleball.org)

Member of the original company startup team. Providing large-scale media support, data communications, software development, quality assurance and related services to major radio, television and telecommunications networks. Local services include trapik.com, Manila's largest traffic reporting service providing real-time traffic and information services to local radio, television and mobile phone networks.

Member of the original company startup team. Responsibilities included the design, tender, selection and installation of all required network communications systems, including selection and build out of all network switching centers, support equipment and network communications facilities. Project managed the design and construction of all Smart facilities in Manila, Cebu and Davao. Created a number of software products to control fraud, manage network resources, and provide automated system reporting.

Member of the original company startup team. Supported the Engineering Director and assisted local engineering staff in all phases of systems design, installation, commissioning and operation. Provided technical support throughout the organisation including Switch and radio base station engineering, MIS and Marketing. Developed a number of internal software products to manage system resources, provide cost effective communications and network security.

Launched in 1987 as L.A. Cellular, later purchased by AT&T Wireless. Managed the companies first network operations center (NOC), providing first line operations and maintenance and real-time technical support to the largest mobile phone network in the United States. Developed the countries first mobile 911, emergency response service. Developed software to automate critical system processes and automatically store and forward real-time billing information to regional clearinghouse.

Originally MCI Communications, Corp. Network controller managing 36-switch network covering the entire MCI Western region. Provided 24-hour real-time support to all California, Nevada and Hawaii customers. Awarded MCI’s “Employee of the year” award for 1986 for creating software to fully automate a number of critical, real-time network management systems.

Electronic engineer responsible for maintaining priority A1, communications facilities used to launch, control and track nuclear assets for delivery via guided Minuteman III missiles and heavy bombers in defense of the United States. After attending a year of training on computers and electronics, I maintained to component level some of our most critical, top secret communications systems.
