- Mostly for Virginia Class Submarines, but also on 1 Los Angeles Class. - I have my Confidential and Secret Clearance. - Radiological Controls Qualified.- Writing, issuing, and directing test procedures to meet Key Events.- Maintaining databases to track Key Events.- Writing Engineering Reports to work through issues and develop solutions. - Working with multiple trades to complete complex testing. - Writing and issuing Work Permits for Work Control Processes.- Verifying and maintaining test boundaries, test blanks, pre-requisites, and other means of constraining system tests.- Completing markups for system tests such as hydros and flushes on system diagrams.- Verifying that all tests meet NAVSEA, 6010, and SubSafe requirements. - Responsible for non-nuclear systems such as Lubricating Oil, Propulsion Lubricating Oil, Main Steam, Auxiliary Steam, Main Seawater, Auxiliary Seawater, Electric Plant, Temporary Auxiliary Seawater.- In addition to mechanical testing, we also must be proficient in electrical testing. - Maintain a running log of all gages and sensors to be calibrated, as well as calibrating them.- Verifying cleanliness of Demineralized water prior to testing based on requirements for each test through sampling with Silver Nitrate.- Maintaining personal qualifications for water sampling, SLAN, Steam and Electric Plant qualification, Work Control qualified, Security.- Working with the Nuclear Test Engineers during shared testing.- Proper disposal Silver Nitrate waste.- Maintaining the supply closet and submitting supply orders for review.

I receive shipments as well as send them out. I also put products on display and make sure there are no missing tags or wrong tags on the floor. I load large items into vehicles such as fridges, washers, dryers, and TVs. I sometimes work as a fill in for the Asset Protection position up front, and I straighten and farm movies, music, and games into the correct order. I assist in the unloading of trucks on weekly basis.

I used to be in our Wireless department selling cell phones, Ipods, Mp3 Players, house phones, and PDAs. But then they separated cell phones and PDAs from Wireless, and I went to our Media department with the left over items previously mentioned, but now I also cover Moves, Cds, Video Games/ Video Game Consoles. So I cover around half our store now. I am fluent with everything from my old department, but I am working on the video game consoles. Those are the only items giving me grief.
