Michael's current role entails responsibility for Cockram's NSW and ACT operations. In this role he works with the senior management with regards to the strategy and direction of the business. In conjunction with this responsibility Michael also manages Cockram's Procurement team which looks to improve the procurement functions across the business. Michael.

In my role as State Manager I held overall responsibility for all projects within NSW and the ACT. During this period the Cockram NSW business grew substantially from a small office of 30 to over 100 people. Project highlights during this period included the IKEA Tempe store, Hunter Medical Research Institute and the Elizabeth Macarthur Agricultural.

In the role I oversaw a multitude of construction projects at any point in time. Projects included Pharmaceutical, Health, Aged Care and Local Government. The projects were delivered via a variety of contractual types including Head Contract, Design and Construct and Construction Management. Highlights include the significant upgrade of the CSL Flu.

During this period I was Project Manager for large scale Pharmaceutical projects on the island of Puerto Rico. Key challenges in the role was managing quality, time and cost requirements.

I was involved in defence and health projects in Metropolitan and Regional Victoria including a variety of different delivery methods.

Responsible for finding new work for the Victorian Division of Cockram including for locating opportunities and working on the submissions.
