As production supervisor with 31 direct reports, and ownership of 4 manufacturing lines, my role involved:Ensured the smooth flow of product through the SMT (Surface Mount Technology) line and maintaining the high standards of quality through AOI inspection (Automatic Optical Inspection) Produced high quality Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies for various different customer requirements including many medical customers.Ensured that all customer requested deliveries were met by setting up the production plan to manage capacity requirements and material delivery dates.Complied with all health and safety requirements and adhered to all environmental procedures with emphasis on the 5S Housekeeping programme.Responsible for ensuring that the required training took place and was correctly documented. In conjunction with the Engineering team, ensured that all New Product Introduction (NPO) and Prototype builds were assembled to the correct customer specifications. Prepared and carried out the annual performance reviews and salary increases.This position was made redundant in April 2020 due to the impact of COVID-19.
