Main developer for Government Reporting Integrated Platform, an application for monitoring progress of projects and programmes across the entire UK Government, reporting to Number 10. Built from scratch using open source software, and used by 1,000+ users across the UK. • Agreeing service level requirements for ICT with customers across the tri-borough organisation (Westminster, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea)• Monitoring service performance, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders. Analysing incidents and problems to identify trends and potential problems• Agreeing contracts for service provision with external suppliers, and establishing problem resolution procedures

• Administering applications used by Built Environment service areas (e.g. Planning, Residential, Environmental Health, Licensing, Trading Standards) including application processing software, EDRMS, public access systems, application forms, management information software, and workflow management software• Leading projects in service areas to improve business processes, make better use of software, and ensure data integrity• Co-ordinating application of upgrades in association with suppliers, and ensuring effective testing is completed• Providing support and communicating with, as well as producing documentation suitable for, users of different technical abilities• Co-ordinating and training a network of ‘superusers’ across service areas to provide localised support• Developing and maintaining tasks within the workflow management software (using SQL and C#) to support service areas• Providing support for other IT projects (e.g. a recent project run by external contractors using Agile development to produce web forms, or technical support for a project for bulk back-scanning of documents to the EDRMS)• Representing Westminster in meetings with other local authorities, central government departments, and software developers

• Implementing ICT solutions for the Licensing service (e.g. introduction of EDRMS solution, online application registers)• Maintenance, design and implementation of Licensing section of the Westminster website and intranet• Monitoring and reporting on performance levels of the Service for staff, managers and Councillors• Providing training and technical support both within Licensing and across the Council, and producing and updating training and procedural documentation• Handling inquiries and resolving issues related to financial and billing enquiries within the department
